Guess we needed to wait for the more powerful iPhone 3GS to get some kind of video editing app. And now it’s here, available exclusively for the most powerful of the iPhones …(I wonder whether it works with the latest iPod Touch devices, as well?)

Anyway, the application is called Reel Director and its features include:

• Ability to stitch together multiple clips, drag and drop them to re-arrange order;
• Add text watermarks of title, opening credits and closing credits; 4 styles and 9 transitions are available;
• Ability to add any of the 27 available transitions between clips;
• Timeline – scrollable, seekable within clips;
• Preview – full preview of any given frame, with watermarks and transitions applied.
